Participating in Grundfos Challenge might pave your way for a future career in Grundfos. A large number of participants have been hired in Grundfos after participating.

We have asked some of them about their experiences with Grundfos Challenge.

Thomas

"Grundfos Challenge was a fun and a very challenging week. It forced a holistic approach to the assignment embracing theoretical as well as practical reflections. As such, it differs from the traditional approach at Danish universities and consequently provides students with an even better preparation for the "real world".

I honestly didn't have much of an impression of Grundfos prior to participating in the Challenge. The meeting with the organisation was, however, a positive surprise.

To me, Grundfos Challenge was an invaluable experience. I probably learned more during that one week than I have in many of the courses covering an entire semester. Adding to this a week with lots of fun and interesting people, then what's not to like?"

"The Grundfos Challenge is a good way to clearly see your strengths and use them appropriately.

I warmly recommend everybody to participate – it comes down to an intensive but fun week with lots of new ideas, contacts, insights into a large global company and diversified views on different aspects.

Grundfos, unknown to me before Challenge, positively surprised me with their incorporated values that touch upon aspects that are very important to me when looking for a company to work for."

Anne Pattis, Graduate, Grundfos Graduate Programme, Denmark

Chris

"The Challenge was one of the most stressful and rewarding weeks of my life; testing my collaborative and time management skills.

It was educational not only in terms of learning a business segment and conceptualisation practices. I discovered a company that lives its values and allocates the resources to realise a more sustainable future.

My team may not have won but I ultimately did, joining Grundfos as an innovation engineer in the U.S. I think all organisations should have case competitions, it's a great way to find talent; case in point!"

   Christopher Snyder, Innovation Engineer, USA

Janni

"Grundfos Challenge was indeed a big challenge. I learned a lot about myself and my abilities to co-operate with different types of people with different types of fields. It was nice to use some of the things I learned at the business school in practice and I gained insight in the ways in which a private company works."

   Janni Løber, Project Manager, Denmark

Hans

"During Grundfos Challenge I established a personal network in Grundfos. I now benefit from this for example when I need assistance in relation to specific areas of knowledge in the company to solve a specific task.

Grundfos Challenge also served as a "crash course" in the company's various business areas, as well as company culture and values - a good way to get to know Grundfos. One of the primary reasons why I now work at Grundfos is that the company's fundamental values harmonise with my own values."

Hans Brink Hansen, Innovation Manager, Denmark
